National Online Auction - 21st January 2024
Approx 2.8 acres of Land – Potential for Multiple Uses (STP)
Located in the Hamlet of Strongstry the land being sold is circa 2.8 acres of land bordering the River Irwell.
There is potential for a multitude of uses such as stabling, grazing, agriculture or recreational use, subject to relevant consents.
Most of the site is grassland with trees bordering the lower side of the site.
The land does have some scheduled work to be completed circa mid 2025 by the environment agency to remove the more recent raised embankments at the rear of North Street and level the area to its original levels. We are also aware that there is potential liability to reinstate a walk bridge over the river connecting a right of way from its southern boundaries over the river following its collapse a few years ago.
